We often believe that decisions are made based on rationality, economic self-interest, and clear rules. However, behind many individual and collective choices lies a more subtle mechanism of influence: social norms-the unwritten rules that define what we consider right, what we expect from others, and how we act.
Understanding how people make decisions is not just a topic in behavioral economics. It is also a strategic capability for policy designers, organizational leaders, and market creators.
This session of Lunch & Connect opens an academic and practical dialogue on the role of social norms in shaping economic behavior, drawing from empirical research evidence and applications in the modern business environment.
