Prof. Tim Bently


Prof. Tim BentlyHis primary research interests centre on psychosocial risks and healthy work, with a particular emphasis on workplace bullying and other forms of ill-treatment in the workplace. He has held several formal research leadership roles throughout his career, including director roles at Forst Research (Scion), Massey and AUT. Until December, 2015, He was employed as Director of the NZ Work Research Institute at AUT University, responsible for a programme of funded research involving six specialist research groups and around 60 researchers.. As founder and former head of AUT's strategic Future of Work Programme, He has a deep appreciation of the global forces and trends, and the importance industry places on understanding and managing the challenges and opportunities that such changes bring.
